Command the armies of Shu, Wei, and Wu in three unique campaigns, each offering distinctive units, heroes, and technologies. Venture beyond China with two new civilizations—the Jurchens and Khitans.
Explore five new civilizations:
- Shu: Lead the Kingdom of Shu and pursue Liu Bei’s vision of reestablishing the Han dynasty. Unique units include the White Feather Guard and the War Chariot.
- Wei: Assume the role of Cao Cao, conquering China with powerful cavalry and cunning tactics. Unique units include the Tiger Cavalry and the Xianbei Raider.
- Wu: Guide the Sun Clan to greatness with a strong focus on infantry and naval strength. Unique units include the Fire Archer and Jian Swordsman.
- Jurchens: Rule the northeast with the Great Jin dynasty's elite hunters and cavalry. Unique units include the Iron Pagoda and Grenadier.
- Khitans: Relive the Liao dynasty’s might with mobile hordes and fierce weaponry. Unique units include the Liao Dao and Mounted Trebuchet.
