Project Extreme x Despair has arrived! From the creators Kazutaka Kodaka and Kotaro Uchikoshi comes an exciting new adventure game. Meet Takumi Sumino, an ordinary teenager living in the Tokyo Residential Complex, where life is predictably uneventful—until bizarre monsters attack and chaos ensues. A mysterious entity named Sirei offers Takumi a chance to protect those he loves, but it comes with a strange condition: he must stab himself in the chest. Suddenly, Takumi finds himself at Last Defense Academy, a secluded school encircled by supernatural flames. He, along with 14 other students, becomes part of the Special Defense Unit, dedicated to defending the school for the next 100 days. How much will they sacrifice to restore normalcy and save the world from these grotesque invaders? The stage is set for 100 days of warfare and despair.
Extreme Despair-Filled Endings: Takumi's choices shape his destiny, though the consequences remain uncertain.
Defensive Battles: When enemies invade, it's your duty to defend the school through strategic RPG combat. Utilize each student's unique Specialist Skills to gain an advantage.

The Hundred Line – Last Defense Academy is an excellent tactical RPG that fully showcases the strengths of the creatives behind it. A well-written and compelling story, strong and strategic gameplay, attractive art style, and passionate VA work all come together to make for a comprehensive experience that you won't want to miss. It's an instant recommendation for fans of Uchikoshi and Kodaka's past work, but even if you're not so much into visual novels, consider adding this one to your library. The Switch has plenty of life in it yet, and Hundred Line stands as a strong reminder of why.
