In Bladestorm: Nightmare, players become commanders of the mercenaries in the Hundred Years' War between England and France and will lead their units consisting of servants, archers, soldiers, to riders on elephants. You besiege and fight on a dynamically changing battlefield in order to bring your army to victory. The story of the game includes a second option; Nightmare, which brings fictional encounters with mythical fantasy enemies like dragons, giants and demons. The game allows you to control up to four units, among which a player switches, or he can also merge them into a single army, which can have up to 200 soldiers.
