Reus is a strategy game in which a player plays the role of one of the four possible gods through which he controls the forces of nature. The Gods are embodied in the form of giants who make life, control the weather, or deal with genetic manipulations. Giants can create oceans and mountains, plants and animals, causing floods and windbreaks. The only thing they can not control is the ability and the will of the people. People are guided by their own will and emotions. The Gods are obliged to maintain the balance and harmony between nature and human action so that nature does not gain predominance over humans and people do not harm the environment around them. Reus gives the player almost unlimited power over nature and people.
