Squad is a tactical online shooter with first person perspective and a great emphasis on teamwork and communication. The game brings a realistic battlefield where players must work together and playing solo is greatly disadvantaged. There are four groups taking part in the fighting: the US, Russia and the two rebel groups or militias. The game has four modes: classic Conquest, Insurgency, Advance and Secure, and Territory Control. The game supports up to 100 players on one battlefield, ie 50 vs. 50. The squads play an important role, and even more so the squad leaders who have special abilities. Each of the members of the Squad may select a role: Squad Leader, Rifleman, Automatic Rifleman, Medic, Grenadier, Light Anti-Tank, Marksman. The full version of the game brings all possible infantry gear and equipment corresponding to each fraction.
