EXPERIENCE MADNESS AND SHIFTING REALITY

Drawing from H.P. Lovecraft's chilling atmospheres, this game introduces a complex madness system that distorts your perception. With unpredictable threats, it becomes hard to differentiate reality from illusion, sowing paranoia within your team. Trust is elusive as your senses play tricks on you.

SET OUT INTO THE UNKNOWN

Board your galleon and ready yourself for the next mission. Enter into an agreement with the captain to procure equipment in exchange for the wealth you retrieve. Distribute weapons among your group and decide on which part of the jungle to tackle next. The deeper you delve, the greater the peril you'll encounter. The cursed jungle not only harbors bizarre creatures but also toys with your sanity.

SEARCH FOR THE MOUND

Once ashore, you must rely on spatialized voice chat to coordinate amidst the unpredictable dangers and gather whatever riches you can. Uncover forgotten forts and retrieve their logbooks to unlock them as starting points for future missions. suspect that despite its strides toward something a little more conventional, The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu will still be something of an acquired taste for some, much like a great deal of ACE Team's back catalogue arguably has been. Sure enough it has a heap of jank and the combat isn't as satisfying as it should be, but The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu still represents the sort of resoundingly refreshing take on the extraction shooter that the genre continues to demand thanks to its brilliant use of madness mechanics that deftly elevate its online multiplayer experience.
