The game is set in the year 395 AD, during the famine of the early Middle Ages and allows you to lead the weakend Roman Empire or the huge army of fierce barbarian conquerors. Nordic warrior nations have unique land and naval forces, missions, cultural characteristics and features of fraction and are ready to go south from their icy homeland to start plundering and conquering. At the head of these dreaded Hun invaders stands their ruthless leader Attila. Help the mighty Roman Empire, avoid famine and resist the powerful enemy, or use the huge and strong army to take over the previously invincible cities, and take all the wealth of the Roman Empire.
