Tales of Symphonia has a characteristic action real-time battle system, in which the player directly controls one of the four characters. The story this time focuses on Lloyd Irving, whose friend Colette is selected as the "Chosen One". The task is to embark on a journey in order to bring manna to the dying world Sylvarant and save it. But the mysterious organization Crux stands it their way as well as people from the world called Tethe'alla.
